Pegler Yorkshire’s new Tectite thermostatic mixing valve series ‘combines the latest in metal push-fit technology, with the ultimate protection against hot water scalding and thermal shock’.
Offering connectivity to copper, stainless steel, and PE-X and PB, the Tectite TMV also benefits from ‘additional push-fit advantages’ such as installed cost savings, as joints are made ‘in a fraction of the time, heat-free’. The Tectite TX405 series in-line TMVs are combined TMV3 and TMV2 compact mixing valves that meet NHS Model Engineering Specification DO8 requirements, and are Buildcertapproved. The valves incorporate a single purple cap which includes the TMV3 and TMV2 logos. Pegler Yorkshire added: “The new valves retain ease-of service advantages, and now also offer Tectite connection for pipe sizes from 15 to 22 mm. The full Tectite TMV series is supplied with strainers and nonreturn valves, and offers a screw-fixed tamper-proof cap to prevent unauthorised adjustment of the valve temperature setting. The valves are supplied with union connections.”
