Bristan has launched ‘the market’s softest touch timed-flow taps to date’. ‘Ideal’ for healthcare applications, the new soft-touch push-button range requires ‘only a very light touch’ to operate, making the taps ‘especially suitable for use where very young, old, or less able people, are accommodated’.
An integrated time flow valve restricts use to a 9-20 second shut-off period after activation. Bristan adds: “The result is vast scope for water savings and assured BREEAM compliance when the included six litre/min flow regulator is fitted. The risk of flooding from taps being left running is also eliminated.” Chris Tranter, product manager, said: “Inherently, many previous push-button, automatic shut-off taps have been very difficult to press.
