The company claims to have ‘already taken nurse call technology further than ever before’, by introducing platformindependent software into its Fusion-IP nurse call system. Of particular interest to facilities managers will be the system’s connectivity with the latest mobile devices. Alarms, faults, and other events displayed on the system, are accessible from any device supporting a web browser. Other features include comprehensive patient-to-nurse call, with two-way speech to the patient bedside, ‘roaming patient call’, ‘bed exit alert’, ‘staff attack’ and ‘staff presence’, and full IP integration with the site LAN and WAN.
