HEJ looks forward to some of the highlights at next month’s Healthcare Estates 2014 conference and exhibition in Manchester, set to be the year’s largest gathering of personnel from the UK healthcare engineering and estates management sector under one roof.
This year’s Healthcare Estates event in Manchester (taking place at Manchester Central from 7-8 October) will, the organisers, Step Exhibitions promise, offer attendees ‘a myriad of ideas, new innovations, and leading edge products’, while bringing together many of the leading personalities in the healthcare industry.
Show director, Steve Webb, said: “The IHEEM conference, exhibition, dinner, and awards, have developed to combine into the leading UK annual event for all those whose work involves designing, building, engineering, managing, and maintaining, healthcare buildings. The theme of this year’s programme is Quality in the patient environment, and the 2014 conference has been framed around four key areas – Energy; Estates & Facilities; Planning; Design and Construction, and Engineering. Supporting the conference, the exhibition will feature over 200 companies showcasing new products and services, many highlighted in pages 101-134 of this preview.”
