Essentia ‘combines commercial focus with NHS values to put innovative, tailored solutions into action’.
Having ‘started life’ as part of London’s Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, ‘providing all non- clinical services, and generating significant efficiencies and benefits’, Essentia now ‘provides solutions’ for clients throughout the NHS and public sector, in seven areas:
- Strategy development.
- Estates development.
- Energy performance contracts.
- Sustainability and utility management.
- IT services. r Procurement.
- Sterile services.
Essentia Trading, wholly owned by the Foundation Trust, added: “We remain proudly by the NHS, for the NHS, and the income we generate is reinvested into our home Trust at the Guy’s and St Thomas’ hospitals.”
In Manchester Essentia will showcase its Energy Performance Contracts service. It explained: “Working closely with clients, we procure a bespoke Energy Performance Contract from an energy savings company, which then designs, builds, operates, and (if necessary) funds an energy savings programme which will deliver a guaranteed reduction in energy and financial cost, and carbon footprint.”
