The £16 million refurbishment of the Glasgow Royal Infirmary University Tower has seen 4,000 m2 of DLW Linoleum’s Marmorette flooring installed.
Fitted by MacGregor Flooring Company, the hard-wearing, ‘low-maintenance design classic’ was specified by architects, Armitage Associates, for laboratories, offices, and medical teaching facilities, ‘because of its colour range, environmental credentials, and natural hygienic properties’.
Distributed by international flooring specialist, Gerflor, DLW Linoleum’s Marmorette and Colorette linoleum floorings are available in over 80 colours, with several thicknesses and acoustic options.
A linoleum flooring brand that incorporates cork, Marmorette is described as ‘warm underfoot, light in weight, and easy to fit’. It is available with a choice of surface treatments to protect against damage from moisture, stains, or abrasive dirt, and reduce maintenance.
