BeaconMedæs and Atlas Copco have jointly developed a new full range of oil-free medical compressors, via which they say users can be ‘guaranteed elimination of all traces of oil’ in their medical air.
The companies said: “Our new Oil-free medical compressors can be easily incorporated in our mAIR medical air plant, meaning that we can offer a medical air system at the pressure or flow users require, with a technology of their choice. The range includes premium technologies, uch as the ZT-MED tooth, SF-MED scroll, LF/LE-MED piston, and the AQ-MED water-lubricated screw compressor. All are built to comply with the latest medical standards and guidelines, including HTM02-01 and ISO 7396-1.
“All of the new models are designed to be easy to install, and are pre-configured to communicate with the ES-MED central controller included on our dMED dryer system. We can also offer the Variable Speed Drive option on the ZT- MED and AQ-MED Oil-free compressors.”
