Fremantle Court, the Fremantle Trust’s new ‘flagship’ care home one mile south of Stoke Mandeville Hospital, provides care support for 90 people in a two-storey, purpose-built building.
The roof features over 30,000 of SSQ’s Del Carmen slates. SSQ says: Fremantle Court is a £6 m premium care facility, and it was thus important to ensure that all materials used were of the highest quality. Specifically, the roofing material needed to be guaranteed to outlast the building, while not fading substantially over time. SSQ’s Del Carmen slates are guaranteed in both respects.”
