Responding to increased market demand for heavy-duty renewable energy solutions, biomass provider, Rural Energy, has partnered with Austrian boiler manufacturer, Herz, to develop the Herz Firematic 199 kW HD.
Specifically designed for energy- intensive applications, the new design is based on the ‘popular’ Firematic 199kW model. ‘Featuring the same reliable grate and boiler design’, the new HD version benefits from a larger body and combustion chamber, which in turn delivers increased water volume and overall heating capacity.
These modifications give the new HD model a greater thermal mass, enabling it to cope more effectively with long operating periods. The redesigned combustion chamber and heat exchanger also allow for wider tolerances on the moisture content of the wood chip fuel source.
