Imax Xtra is a ‘high efficiency’, floor-standing condensing boiler range from Ideal Commercial Boilers, said to be ‘the perfect choice for a wide range of commercial applications’.
Offering 10 outputs, the range is available either as single modules from 80 kW to 280 kW, or as master-slave sequence modules from 320 kW to 560 kW. All options offer ‘very low NOx Class 5 performance for maximum points on the BREEAM scale’, and ‘extremely high nett efficiencies’ of 107.5 % at part load, exceeding Part L of the updated Building Regulations. A high turndown ratio of 5:1 further minimises energy use, ‘by greatly reducing inefficient on-off cycles’.
Fast, straightforward installation is another benefit. Conventional or room-sealed flue options are available, and the boiler’s compact size enables fitting where space is limited.
Each Imax Xtra utilises a robust cast aluminium-silicon alloy heat exchanger with fully modulating premix burner with gas and air control, ‘ensuring excellent efficiency throughout the firing cycle’.
