Pineapple Contracts’ new Ryno dining and lounge furniture products ‘combine exciting modern design, high levels of safety, and cutting-edge British manufacturing’.
The company said: “The range was developed in response to a need for highly resilient furniture which doesn’t look like purely functional equipment. The polyethylene material – available in eight vibrant colours – is inherently antimicrobial, and easy to clean.
“The ‘space-age’ shapes are both easy on the eye, and designed to minimise gripping points, making the products difficult to pick up or throw. For extra challenging environments, additional weighting can be added (75 kg with the lounge chair). For public areas requiring immovable furniture, the products may be linked together, or floor-fixed.”
Ryno products are fire-retardant (conforming to BS 5852:2006 ignition source 5), and strength tested to simulate 100 years’ use. The lounge chair is suitable for bariatric use.
