A new bath filler designed to further aid users ‘in the complex task of ensuring optimum water temperature and infection control’ has been launched by Bristan.
Designed to complement the Bristan Opac shower range (HEJ – January 2015), it features an integrated TMV3 valve, ‘ultra-safe’ cool touch tap body, and automatic shut-off should the hot or cold water supply fail.
The key innovation of the Opac bath filler, however, lies with the easy maintenance isolation and flush mechanism integral to the tap. As with the Opac bar shower, the mechanism allows the mixed water passages to be flushed without a time-consuming disassembly. Maintenance engineers can thus conduct a hot water thermal disinfection simply by opening the hot or cold valve with the simple turn of two grub screws. Bristan says the bath filler can thus be cleansed in ‘a matter of ten minutes or less’.
A ‘unique’ wall fitting system makes it easy to install, while a sleek, modern design ensures a ‘stylish solution suitable for all environments’.
