A new building and engineering maintenance services framework, open to all NHS organisations, has ‘gone live’.
It has been designed by procurement collaborative, NHS London Procurement Partnership (LPP), ‘to provide a flexible solution to the needs of the NHS’. Users can choose either a fully managed building engineering maintenance service under Lot 1, or specific individual maintenance services under Lots 2 - 14.

LPP says: “The framework was created following the expiry of a Crown Commercial Service contract. Research among NHS organisations determined that an expanded BEMS framework was more appropriate than an alternative total facilities management contract.”
