‘Holistic approach’ on offer

At this year’s Healthcare Estates, Trend Control Systems invites visitors to ‘challenge their expectations’ of building energy management systems (BEMS).

Having helped healthcare estates and facilities teams ‘deliver high quality patient care environments for over 30 years – using BEMS traditionally to monitor, control, and integrate building services such as heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning’, the company says Trends BEMS ‘offers a more holistic approach today, that empowers individuals to be proactive and make objective decisions about their energy use, while building resilience towards changing times and climates’.

In Manchester, Trend will highlight ‘best practice examples’ where NHS Trusts have ‘already challenged their BEMS, are thinking differently about their buildings, working smarter, and are now reaping the benefits’.

The company will also show the latest addition to its product range – the Trend IQ 4E controller, featuring ‘enhanced data management, for improved site energy usage and cost control’.
