Salix Finance provides interest-free capital loans to public sector bodies for installing energy-efficient equipment.

Funded by the Department of Energy and Climate Change, Salix has worked with over 50 NHS Trusts and NHS Foundation Trusts in England since 2007. Its interest-free funding covers over 120 energy efficiency work types, including boilers, combined heat and power, LED and lighting upgrades, and heat recovery. The company has worked with the public sector in England, Scotland, and Wales, for over 10 years, helping fund over £350 million for energy efficiency projects, and assisting clients in saving £93 m in annual energy costs.
