Building services consultancy, Steven Hunt & Associates, will be returning to the Healthcare Estates exhibition and conference for the tenth consecutive year to showcase its specialist work in the healthcare sector.
The company says it has ‘an established expertise in the healthcare sector, combining specialist understanding of treatment and care facilities, with a clear focus on energy efficiency, operational cost management, and best value’.
Recent healthcare sector projects include a £4.5 m building services scheme to design the mechanical and electrical installation for a new operating theatre suite at Salford Royal Hospital. Steven Hunt & Associates worked closely with both the clinical and estates teams to create an exemplar operating theatre environment, including an ‘ultraclean’ theatre for complex orthopaedic procedures.
The company is also responsible for the building services design at a current project to develop a Tier 4 CAMHS facility in Chester, including full anti-ligature specification, and has delivered building services design schemes for a wide range of other healthcare environments, including the Aintree UCAT (Urgent Care & Trauma) Centre in Liverpool, Royal Bolton Hospital, and Fazakerley Hospital’s Outpatients’ Department.
