HEWI says hinged support rails and shower seats that are not permanently installed ‘offer maximum flexibility’.
The company said: “They can also be installed quickly and easily wherever they are needed. The portable hinged support rail (pictured) is simply latched into the permanently installed mounting plate,” the company continued. “If not needed, the plate can be concealed with a cover cap matching the surface of the hinged support rail.” The mobile hinged support rails are available in stainless steel, polyamide, chrome, and WARM TOUCH (which ‘unites the visual properties of high gloss chrome surfaces with the haptic properties of polyamide’, to make the components ‘feel pleasantly warm’).
The mobile shower seat is latched into a permanently installed mounting plate – from the front – so the wall is not damaged. The mobile shower seat can also easily be removed, while the mounting plate is concealed with a steel or polyamide cover cap.
HEWI added: “The seats can be folded up to save space. Seat surfaces are glass-fibre reinforced polyamide, and are optionally available in white or anthracite grey. The comfortable seating has a weight capacity of up to 150 kg, and is available in different sizes.”
