Tridonic, a specialist in light management solutions that utilise ‘the latest LED technology’, will be exhibiting for the first time.
The company said: “We recognise the importance of the healthcare market, and have already successfully completed a number of hospital and care home projects that not only provide the patients and staff with optimum lighting conditions, but also offer significant improvements in light management and energy consumption.”
Simon Blazey, strategic solution sales manager, added: “Regardless of the levels of investment in staff and medical equipment, if a hospital ward or care home does not have the right ambience, patient wellbeing will be impacted. With developments in LED technology, the associated drivers, and ‘cloud’-based services, light management can now play a key role in providing improved conditions for recovery and care.”
In Manchester Tridonic will highlight some of its recent healthcare successes, and demonstrate its connecDIM solution (see graphic), which it says facilitates inhouse measurement and reporting in line with the new ESOS requirements.
