Contour, the designer and manufacturer of low surface temperature (LST) radiators and guards, has introduced new ‘round top’ panel radiators, which ‘provide an ideal choice for those seeking to reduce energy waste and also save on space’.
Available immediately, the new radiators replace the previous ‘compact style’ panel emitters.
Contour said: “The round tops’ high quality design, build, and exceptional thermal output, make them the ideal choice as LST heat emitters.”
The new radiators have smaller water channels, and thus contain less water on average than Contour’s previous panel emitters. The smaller channels mean more metal in actual contact with the water, providing a faster warm-up time.
‘Significantly’, they deliver considerably higher BTU/Watt outputs for the same heat energy input as previously required. They also feature no extra side panels or grilles, and no extraneous parts absorbing heat energy or blocking thermal circulation, within the LST guards.
