Designed very much with infection control in mind, Bristan’s ‘new and improved version’ of its ‘iconic’ H64 tap includes a removable spout (with an angled waterway to help drain excess water) to assist in the cleaning regime, with an in-box choice of either open flow outlet or laminar flow straightener for greater flexibility.
The new model also features engineering grade, chlorine dioxideresistant, plastic elbow waterways to guard against bacterial growth, patented flush technology that does not require any additional equipment, and tamper-proof easy access isolation without removal of the valve from the wall/basin – for quick thermal flushing in line with infection control measures. Other features include easy calibration, and a cool touch – to reduce scalding.
Chris Tranter, product manager at Bristan, said: “The removable spout makes it even easier for maintenance workers to clean the tap, while the new internal waterway design within the valve body minimises the mixed water area to help prevent the build-up of bacteria in sentinel points.”
