Cobweb IS has introduced ‘a new innovation in electrical compliance management’.
The company explained: “Large buildings and estates need to adhere to statutory electrical regulations to meet their electrical compliance responsibilities. The current approach wastes time and money, and increases the risk of non-compliance, and electrical shock or fire.
“Smarter EI&T powered by EDIS V3.0 is an innovation that reduces cost, risk, and time consumed, by automating the management of electrical data and the planning of electrical compliance. It is an integrated process, governance, and system, for managing compliance in line with the Electricity at Work Act and supporting regulations, including BS7671.
“The recently released EDIS V3.0, combined with the Smarter Electrical Inspection and Testing process, enable the automation of the process for managing the large volume of electrical data, and provide management reports to ensure the required process is followed. Large estates or buildings can have over 500 distribution boards, meaning thousands of pages of certificates, schedules, schematics, and other electrical documents. EDIS elegantly manages this data and document challenge. The data is efficiently captured once – after which all certification, schedules, distribution networks, risk reports, and future plans, are automatically generated.”
