New automated control of Legionnaire’s disease through compliance with the HSE’s Approved Code of Practice L8 has been promised with Aquatility Ltd’s new software system Vigil8.

The system aims to automate regular weekly, monthly and six-monthly checks of hot and cold water distribution systems within a building as identified within the required L8 risk assessment.

The browser-based software system records and archives water temperature checks, sends alert emails when necessary and attaches digital images.
