Health Secretary opens new NEBOSH HQ

NEBOSH is the UK’s largest health and safety examination board, accredited to offer certificate and diploma level qualifications in health and safety and environmental management.

NEBOSH’s chief executive, Teresa Budworth commented: “With the increasing demand for our qualifications both in the UK and around the world, we simply out grew our old building.

Fortunately we were able to purchase larger premises literally next door. In 2005 over 21,000 candidates entered NEBOSH examinations and over 100,000 people worldwide hold a NEBOSH general certificate in safety and health.”

Patricia Hewitt said: “NEBOSH does important work, clearly making a contribution to health and well being in the workplace.”
