Eric Wright Construction has won a contract to build a new faculty for the school of dentistry at the University of Central Lancashire.
A new course will require students to study clinical science and practical dentistry methods at the University of Central Lancashire’s purpose-built faculty before being transferred to units where they will treat patients in a live environment.
Jim Booth, project manager for the £3.5 million contract for Eric Wright Construction, commented: “UCLAN’s faculty of dentistry is just one in a series of health-focused contracts that Eric Wright Group is undertaking across the North West and we are confident in delivering the highest standard facilities for the new dentistry course when it launches in September 2007.”
