Healthcare construction specialist Yorkon has been named as Innovator of the Year, the fourth consecutive year the company has won a specialist Contractor Award.
The award judges said of the company, “Yorkon is in the process of unleashing a whole host of innovations. These include curved modular buildings, and even more options that can be built in its factory and safely delivered to site. Its clients such as Tesco Express, Carillion, and architects such as Cartwright Pickard, all rave about the company, and now so do we.”
Yorkon director and general manager David Johnson said that the award was a “tremendous achievement” and added, “As a business we are passionate about innovation and pushing the boundaries of modular design to help us maintain our position as market leaders in off-site construction.”
