Wandsworth Healthcare believes technological advances and the growing ability to integrate software and services across medical systems will become ever more vital in improving care and operational efficiency.
Following the recent IHEEM/HEJ survey in association with Wandsworth Healthcare (HEJ – October 2016) which sought the views of healthcare estates and facilities professionals on key issues, Wandsworth Healthcare’s national sales manager, Darren Beeson, gives his standpoint on one of the key questions posed – ‘Do you see technological advances and the growing capability to integrate software and services across medical systems as being a vital instrument to improve care service levels and operational efficiency?’
The inaugural IHEEM/HEJReader Survey was launched in May 2016, with the results of the 14 questions posed set out in a specially produced report widely circulated at October’s Healthcare Estates 2016 event in Manchester. The questions covered both wider societal, geographic, and demographic issues, such as which countries respondents believed currently set the benchmark for healthcare delivery, and which of a number of ‘growing problems’ – including obesity, an ageing population, and dementia – would most impact on Trusts’ future service delivery, and issues impacting on the ‘day job’ of those surveyed.
