BOC Healthcare says its complete Gas Facilities Management (GFM) design consultancy service will ensure that each hospital customer ‘receives the right system for its requirements, delivered by a provider it can trust’
Whether project managing the entire scheme, or providing specialist input on a particular aspect, the company will work closely with clients ‘to guide them through the complexities’ of medical gas pipeline systems. BOC said: “A medical gas pipeline system (MGPS) may be being installed in a new-build, expanding as part of hospital growth, or may just require updating. Our GFM consultancy offers expert advice on the design of a new system, on replacement or sense checking of an existing MGPS and, if required, guidance on how to extend it, including supply system (liquid oxygen VIE sizing) and pipe sizing. We can then deliver the MGPS, fully compliant, and operating with optimum efficiency.”
The consultancy service is offered with a complete range of drawing options – As-fitted, isometric, and/or schematic, all of which BOC says ensure verified MGPS visibility, and allow hospitals to comply with the Pressure Systems Safety Regulations 2000 and HTM 02-01 Part B. BOC can also advise on and undertake medical gas cylinder store specification, design, and build.
