Getinge Group says its new range of Moduevo ceiling supply units can be deployed ‘in diverse healthcare environments’, with the pendants ensuring that vital utilities and equipment are easily accessible, and ‘streamlining workflows and improving efficiency’.
Dr. Dieter Engel, chief Technology Officer, Getinge Surgical Workflows, said: “Moduevo is designed to meet real-world needs. We specifically put ourselves in our customers’ shoes, considered what challenges they face daily, and developed the range accordingly.
‘Innovative features’ include the ‘Ergonomic Positioning System’ of bus bars. Getinge explained: “Elements can be added, moved, and removed, as required or desired, and freely positioned on every face of the unit, at any height. Hospital staff can thus quickly and easily create a customised workstation. Moduevo also features outstanding manoeuvrability; it can, for instance, incorporate a new Grab & Move control system with capacitive sensing technology. The user simply grasps the handle to automatically release the brakes.”
Moduevo is designed to be highly versatile, ‘no matter where it is deployed.’ The workstations are ‘simple to install, intuitive to use, and swift to configure’.
