Hobart has launched the first in a new range of dishwashers, the FXP Front Loading Series.
“The new machine is economical, efficient and environmentally-friendly. A high wash temperature is essential to get the best results from the detergent and with the FXP this can be easily achieved, as the machine is fitted with Ecotherm heating technology. This uses just 0.8kW of energy and yet ensures a constant 62°C during every wash cycle. Operators could save over £500 a year in running costs and reduce their CO2 emissions by 1,250 kg.”
Other features of the FXP include a four stage wash process “Intensiv 4” which removes more food soil from the wash water and saves up to 40% on detergent usage. A pre-wash function shortly after the cycle start removes food soil from the wash water via the Genius X2 active filter system.
The Accurinse Rinse System ensures constant temperature and volume of clean rinse water. As the system is so precise, it saves up to 30% water, energy, detergent and rinse aid.
The machine’s selectable X-Change cycle empties the wash tank completely prior to rinsing, thus removing emulsified fats and other liquids and providing fresh, clean water for the next cycle. This means users can wash heavily soiled and contaminated items without having to manually drain and refill the machine.
