An expert look at the most important changes in the recently revised HTM 06-01: Electrical services supply and distribution guidance document.
Philip Ashcroft of NHS Improvement, Simon Russell of NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership, Ian Storrar of Health Facilities Scotland, David Wilson of the Department of Health, Northern Ireland, and John Prendergast of Technical Publishing Resources, take a look at the key changes in the recently revised HTM 06-01: Electrical services supply and distribution.
Health Technical Memorandum 06-01: Electrical services supply and distribution, has been a useful tool since 2007, but was certainly overdue for a revisit of its contents. Well, it has finally been taken off the proverbial shelf, dusted down, had many tug of war sessions over its new content, and Parts A and B have been merged into one new document.
Readers will note that a continuing theme throughout this revision of HTM 06-01 is that references to relevant standards have been revised in order to better direct the reader to the current applicable standards.
