After a full competitive procurement exercise, the Fulham Road Collaborative (FRC) has awarded a new five-year contract, worth over £100 m, to its existing provider, ISS Facility Services – Healthcare.
The collaborative of NHS establishments along West London’s Fulham Road, and their associate hospitals, include the Chelsea & Westminster NHS Foundation Trust, the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, and the Royal Brompton and Harefield NHS Foundation Trust.
This is the second soft FM award made by the Collaborative to ISS, as it previously awarded a similar contract that ran from January 2012. The new contract will see ISS extend its presence to include waste management, while still providing healthcare cleaning, patient catering, portering and logistics, linen and laundry, reception, and car parking. ISS also successfully tendered to to provide commercial retail services to the staff, visitors, and patients, at the Chelsea & Westminster and Harefield Hospitals.
