Generating revenue from unused space

PKL is launching three new products designed to help NHS Trusts generate income from spaces that are currently under-utilised – the Design Series Food Cube, the Space Station indoor modular retail base, and the ‘Podule’ modular solution.

All three are reportedly ‘perfect for developing grab-and-go offers without large investment’. PKL said: “If your Trust has a large area outside with high footfall, the Food Cube Design Series (pictured) could help generate extra income through a concession. You can add decking, awnings, lighting, and a full vinyl wrap.

“The Space Station is an innovative, exciting addition to the PKL modular fleet – a movable internal concession that can be as well stocked with equipment and merchandising as a small shop – at a fraction of the cost. Wheels enable the unit to be easily moved, and packed away if required. This is a great ‘queue buster’ for busy cafes too.

“The Podule is a modular counter system within a modular framework, which allows catering managers to keep up with street food trends easily. It allows them to change pieces of equipment quickly and easily without major construction works or set-up costs. Podules are perfect for quiet areas in restaurants, reception areas, and larger atriums.”

All three units are available either to buy or on contract rental.
