Vanguard Healthcare Solutions has officially opened a purpose-built, 6,600 m2 transport and logistics facility in Manningtree in Essex as part of an expansion programme.
The renovation of buildings on a former brownfield site at the Riverside Business Centre in Station Road, Lawford, will provide a base for 11 permanent staff, and has the capacity to house the company’s full fleet of 50 mobile healthcare units.
A complete refurbishment of the buildings has seen the creation of a new office block, purpose designed to house a Customer Innovation Centre, including a conference facility. Two new staff have also joined the Vanguard team as project engineers. Vanguard expects the establishment of the new base to increase local job opportunities.
The facility was officially opened by local Mayor, Councillor Mrs Ruth Stocks
