Currie & Brown to support £136 m ‘pipeline of works’

Currie & Brown, a leading construction consultancy company, has been appointed to provide project management and quantity surveying services on an expected £136 million ‘pipeline of works’ across the London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust’s estate.

Currie & Brown has successfully led the procurement and selection of the principal supply chain partner, Kier, via the ProCure 22 Framework, and will now manage the delivery of a range of schemes for the Trust, starting with an update of its estates strategy and site masterplans across all sites, which include the Northwick Park and St. Mark’s, Central Middlesex (pictured), and Ealing Hospitals. The scope of works includes new operating theatres, and improvements to existing theatres, as well as refurbishments to critical care and outpatient departments.

London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust services a local population of one million, with its A&E department at Northwick Park Hospital one of London’s busiest. The Trust says the programme of works will enable it ‘to deliver even higher quality care, as well as meeting local, regional, and national requirements’.
