Lever handle options for thermostatic mixer

Sirrus by Gummers has added new lever handle options to its Solo T3 thermostatic basin mixer to provide compliance with the new HTM64 regulations for use in hospitals. An additional two single lever handle options are now available which will boost its practicality for specification in hospitals and care homes.

Its easy action single lever sequential control means that the Solo T3 thermostatic basin mixer is now suitable for almost every commercial application. The short lever handle option is ideal for use by the less able while the choice of a longer lever handle makes the mixer even easier to use, with just an elbow if necessary. The sleek aesthetics of the Solo T3 ensure that it would be equally at home in a hotel, leisure centre or spa where design is a key consideration as well as safety, the manufacturer claims.

The Solo T3 thermostatic basin mixer’s temperature is controlled to prevent scalding, particularly important in environments where users are more at risk, for example children, the elderly or the infirm. Approved to stringent TMV3 standards under the BuildCert scheme, the Solo T3 thermostatic basin mixer will automatically control water outlet temperatures at the chosen level even when supply pressures and temperatures fluctuate.
