Hi-line Industries has moved into a new, larger production facility in Burtonupon-Trent, to meet growing demand for its range of compressed air purification equipment.
The new premises is three times the size of its previous headquarters; the company serves customers in the medical, food, beverage, general engineering, dairy, automotive, and laser cutting sectors, manufacturing, supplying, and installing equipment that includes air dryers, nitrogen/ oxygen generators, compressed air filtration equipment, condensate management/drains, and service kits.
Hi-line says the move will see leadtimes ‘further reduced’ on its range of dryer and generator products. It has also ‘created many more jobs locally’, and allowed the company to take on twice as many apprentices this year.
wice as many apprentices this year. The company explained: “The significant investment in new premises has been supported by various grants for energy efficiency and investing in people, and the original factory will be used for additional warehousing for refrigeration air dryers.”
Hi-line says it is acknowledged as Britain’s largest stockist of a broad range of air treatment ancillaries, and the largest supplier of refrigeration air dryers. The company is also a member of the British Compressed Air Society.
