Corroding radiators are a direct result of air in heating systems as oxygen is a constituent of air. Steel combined with oxygen creates black sludge, magnetite. If air is removed, the corrosion process is under full control.
By a simple addition to heating systems, pump seal life will be extended, and rapid initial venting of a re-filled or new system is facilitated. Furthermore, there will be no secondary venting requirements and no more heat exchanger blockages. Full heat output from radiators will be achieved – reduced air content increases the heat transfer rate which in turn saves fuel costs etc.
The company’s approach should be applied with new installations and is effective in established systems.
