Modular units assist surgery

SGB Rovacabin has supplied modular buildings to a GP surgery in Norfolk while construction of a new building takes place. Swanton Morely nurse-led surgery in Dereham has been using SGB Rovacabin’s 9.6 m units as a temporary measure. The interlinked units are being used as a waiting room, offices, consulting rooms, nurses’ rooms, toilet facilities and a staffroom.

The buildings sit on foundations on a shale car park and include access steps and ramps. The units are finished externally with plasitsol-coated steel, while internally the plasterboard is vinyl-faced.

Penny Louch, nurse lead of Swanton Morely surgery commented: “The units are exactly what we were looking for and they work perfectly well. SGB Rovacabin was suggested to us, and its competitive rates and good completion time helped make the final decision.”
