Available in three output sizes, products in the floor standing range, known as FVXS-F, all have a category ‘A’ energy efficiency rating and feature a new and easy to clean flat front panel with side inlets in place of the traditional grille for slimness. Low operating noise stems from the use of a five-speed, silent operation fan, with a maximum setting that can be selected for rapid cooling. Operating flexibility and controllability are improved by a remote controller, which features a weekly timer allowing seven-day programming with four different options per day. Other features include an energy saving ‘econo’ mode, which reduces power consumption and avoids overloads when other appliances are in use.

The wall mounted Daikin Inverter Spilt series is available in both heat pump and cooling only versions in a range of output sizes. Quiet in operation, the series can be connected in pair or multi combinations and features a movement sensor for automatic power conservation in unoccupied rooms.

A ‘powerful’ mode boosts airflow to enable rapid cooling or heating and a ‘comfort’ mode offers draught free operation. Other features include a ‘home leave’ operation, saving energy during occupier absence.
