Remote working simplified

Asckey Data Services has introduced an optional Mobile Task Management (MTM) software module for use with its Eclipse-fm facilities management system on industrystandard PDAs and “smart phones”.

Designed to cut down on paperwork and assist in completion of task audits, the new software will, Asckey says, enable NHS estates and facilities personnel working remotely to receive full details of task wherever they are, obviating the need to carry paper tickets or access a PC. Having received and logged onto tasks, individuals can then log off after completing them, providing an “electronic signature” if required. A full record of events and timings can then be uploaded to the host Eclipse-fm system for full integration into standard operating, reporting and auditing processes.

Compatible connection methods include wireless, GPRS, and Bluetooth; a cradle is also available.
