Interfurn Medical Systems chose early October’s Healthcare Estates 2022 conference and exhibition to introduce its new name and brand, Medexs UK, to the healthcare estates and facilities management sector visitors attending the flagship annual IHEEM event.
As part of Daiwa House Group, Medexs UK (formerly Interfurn Medical Systems Ltd) has joined forces with Dutch parent company, Medexs BV, builder of medically classified spaces, and modular builder, Daiwa House Modular Europe. Through the pooling of their expertise, the companies say Medexs UK will be well equipped to to provide ‘a total solution’ for the medical and healthcare sector in the UK – from specialised ventilation, UCV canopies, and medical air-handling units, to ‘a complete range of specialist sustainable building and space solutions for operating rooms, complete hospitals and healthcare facilities, and everything in between’.
Medexs UK MD, Jon Fletcher, said: “With the demand for medical buildings and spaces that are realised sustainably, flexibly, and within a short time, increasing, our combined expertise gives us everything we need to meet demand here in the UK.”
Jos Lans, the CEO of Medexs BV, added: “Because we have bundled our specialist knowledge and experience, we now have everything needed to meet the demand for classified spaces and buildings. With this we offer the total solution for the medical and pharmaceutical sector, in the Netherlands, Europe, and now the UK too.”
