Empower is our intelligent plant control system providing fully automated control, ensuring medical gas plant is safe, reliable and working at maximum efficiency.

Any medical gas alarm system used by the customer can be managed using SHJ’s innovative Evolution technology, which offers a remote, multi-site monitoring and alert service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Emanate harnesses the power of 21st century communications technologies to implement AI-driven techniques of medical gas plant control. Real-time diagnostics using big data analysis allow for ever-smarter predictive maintenance and energy saving measures, vastly increasing a system’s productivity and efficiency.

FLO2 monitors flow meters on oxygen pipelines and displays flow rates and line pressure instantly in K’nect. Users are alerted by email and text when oxygen supplies are approaching maximum capacity so they can respond quickly. FLO₂ won Highly Commended in Product Innovation of the Year at the Healthcare Estates IHEEM Awards 2021.

ACCREDITATIONS

Our standards comply fully with the requirements of HTM 02-01: Medical Gas Pipeline Systems and we are a Company Affiliate Member with The Institute of Healthcare Engineering and Estate Management (IHEEM).

We hold Constructionline Gold, Alcumus SafeContractor, Alcumus SafeContractor SafePQQ and CHAS accreditation.

We operate a Quality Management System which shows that we comply with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015. We are also certified for ISO 14001:2015 for our Environmental Management System and ISO 13485:2016 which demonstrates SHJ’s ability to provide medical air and vacuum plant and related services that consistently meet customer and regulatory requirements.

All our engineers are directly employed by us and fully trained to Competent Person (MGPS) level, with some trained to AP (MGPS) and quality control level. They are all DBS-checked. They also undergo continuous in-house product training, verified by our Reset membership. We are Awarded Suppliers for both the NHS London Procurement Partnership and the NHS North of England Commercial Procurement Collaborative
