Testing conditions not a problem

The range includes flush and surfacemounting standard and minidownlighters, bulkhead fittings for internal and external use, surface and flush-mounting exit signs, retrofittable inverter kits for existing fluorescent ceiling fittings, central monitoring panels, a PC-based graphic user interface, and walk-by hand-held test/data collection units. The standard downlighters are of plug-in, modular construction, enabling a first-fix installation in new builds.

The Xscape lights automatically self-test as required by BS EN 5266 part 1, Code of practice for the emergency lighting of premises.

The results are stored in local memory for recovery via the “walk-by” data capture capability of a hand-held unit or, in centrally-controlled systems, where each luminaire has a unique address, via automatic data transfer to the control panel.

All versions are based around a high output, solid-state light source with a life expectancy of over 60,000 hours, and are supported by lithium ion back-up batteries.
