Parking increase with least disruption

A modular car park decking system designed to assist healthcare professionals struggling to fulfil their patient, visitor and staff parking needs has been unveiled by York-based Portapark.

The company says its decking can be erected on most ground surfaces with “little or no foundations”, meaning less environmental impact and a quick, easy installation. Each module provides six 2.5 metre spaces or four 3.75 metre disabled spaces, and modules are fitted together to create as much space as required.

Access and exit ramps can be fitted at strategic points to best aid traffic flow, while pedestrian access and walkways are fitted for safety. A range of claddings is available to blend in with the surrounding environment, while lighting, guard rails, bay markings, traffic lines and signs can all be added.
