Tiling alternative with attitude

An innovative alternative to standard tiling systems, with the grout line incorporated as an integral part of the panel, will be shown by Composite Fibreglass Mouldings (CFM).

With no grout, CFM’s “Notiles” are reportedly easier to clean, with less opportunity for mould to grow, or for discolouration. For maximum hygienic performance, the panels (on show on the BioCote stand, M38) are protected with a BioCote antimicrobial coating. Said to be ideal for hospitals, care homes and surgeries, they are suitable for any environment where tiles are usually found, e.g. kitchens, bathrooms and laboratories.

BioCote is particularly effective against Aspergillus niger, or black mould. Visible on surfaces and extremely difficult to remove, the mould has also been linked to some respiratory complications.

The easy to cut, fit and drill imitation tile panels are produced from glass fibre and polyester resin in standard sheets of 2395 x 1795 mm, and incorporate BioCote in the gel coat.
