Hot water handwashing anywhere

Lightweight, and with rollers to enable it to be positioned exactly where required, and fully automatic, the Hygienius allows individuals to wash their hands without touching a tap – just placing hands in the bowl triggers a sensor which instantaneously heats water and then delivers a ten second wash at the optimum 40-45°C temperature. There are no switches, buttons or settings to adjust.

The Hygienius is moulded in tough, high impact polyethylene with an acrylic capped ABS bowl. Its unique “TEALtainer” stores 10 litres of clean water – enough for 50 ten-second hand washes.

Teal says the unit “uses 75 per cent less water than the best automatic taps” to provide a 10-second hand wash, while the electronically controlled instantaneous heater “keeps energy costs down to as little as one fifth of a conventionally plumbed in system”.
