A range of surgical lights said to be the world’s first to use HD-LED, a radical new HD-LED technology, will be showcased by Brandon Medical.
HD-LED lights also have “a unique red colour balance feature” that enables red-coloured tissues to be easily differentiated. The intensity of the red LEDs can be adapted to suit surgeons’ own red vision.
Said to use less than a third of the energy of conventional lighting, and to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by up to 60%, HD-LED lights do not contain mercury, cadmium or lead, or use “harmful substances” such as halogens, POPs, CFCs or VOCs.
Brandon Medical also offers medical architectural equipment, control and power systems, and medical AV Systems, all set to be shown in Harrogate.
