Centre’s safe, slip-free solution

Part of a £320 m redevelopment, the King’s Treatment Centre (KTC) is a “onestop- shop”, providing fast-track services including physiotherapy, general surgery and pre-operative assessments. Gradus has fitted a comprehensive wall protection system throughout waiting areas, corridors and wards, including wall guards, handrails and bed protectors from its InPro range, and Sanparrel PVC-u sheet and various corner guards. It also supplied Esplanade Plus primary barrier matting for the main entrances to reduce slip accident risk Steve Argent, head of community relations at the King’s Mill Hospital, said: “The Gradus wall protection system helps to prevent bacteria spread, and to reduce maintenance costs, while the barrier matting helps keep the surrounding flooring areas safe and clean.”
