Paralympic medal winner Dame Tanni Grey-Thompson has officially opened the newly-completed Eaglescliffe Health Centre in Stockton-on-Tees Pictured), designed by P+HS Architects and delivered by Tolent Construction ahead of programme and within budget for Abstract Integrated Healthcare.
Development of the £2.7 m premises, housing the existing GP partnership and offering a wider range of both GP and PCT services for over 8,000 local patients, has been fully supported by the North Tees Teaching Primary Care Trust, and also had “overwhelming public support” throughout the development process.
The building includes an extensive GP surgery with accommodation for doctors, nurse practitioners, healthcare assistants and related clinical staff, a PCT community clinic, and meeting/training spaces, including a library and group room.
