cfes Medical Construction has been selected as preferred contractor for the design, build and commissioning of a new sterile services department (SSD) for Yeovil District Hospital (YDH) NHS Foundation Trust.
The contract, estimated at around £2.5 m in value, was bid for via the competitive OJEU tendering process. The Trust required a compliant, accredited sterile services department to be built on a flat roof space adjacent to the hospital’s existing theatre suites.
